Online Admission Process
Under the mandatory instruction from DHE, Assam owing to the ongoing pandemic, Murkong Selek College has made it compulsory for students applying for both HS and Degree Courses to submit their applications online through Murkong Selek College Online Portal.
The basics steps for applying online is mentioned in the steps below.
Step 1 : Students willing to apply for either HS or TDC courses has to carefully go through the subjects and the combinations offered by the college. |
Step 2 : Students will require the softcopies of the following document to apply online Documents Required 1.Qualifying Exam Marksheet | 2.Caste Cetificate | 3.Admit Card | 4.Passport size Photo | 5.Specimen Signature. Size of the photocopies should not be more than 500Kb. File accepted formats are (.JPG, .PNG) |
Step 3 : The fist step for Online Admission process is the online registration. Here the students will be required to provide his basic, Exam related , Subject related information etc. before going into the next step. |
Step 4 : After filling up the registration form students will be directed to upload their documents as proof claiming his/her candidature. |
Step 5 : Murkongselek College selects admission strictly on merit basis, the candidates that had applied for admission online will be scrutinized purely on the marks they have scored on their qualifying exams, or based on online examinations as will be notified further in the College Website. After final list of admission is notified candidates will be intimidated via SMS or Email, they had provided. The message will contain a ID and password with which they can log in to their respective dashboard of the college, where he can pay his admission fees, download his admit card and many other options. |
Step 6 : After obtaining the ID and password via SMS or Email, the students will have login to their Dashboard using the link provided, and pay his/her admission fees. After paying the admission fees the students will avail all the facilities provided by the College. Owing to the ongoing pandemic, the College has arranged all the facilties like online training, online examination, online fees management and many other options that can ease the way for availing all the facilities just in a click. |
Genreal Admission Process
Admission will be made strictly on the basis of merit. However, in case of any dispute related to admission, the decision of the Admission Committee headed by the Principal will be final and binding. A student intending to take admission must apply on the prescribed form. The form can be obtained from the college office along with the prospectus on payment of Rs. 120.00 (Rupees One Hundred) only. A candidate must not forget to collect the acknowledgement receipt while submitting their admission forms. Under no circumstance applications will be accepted after the last date or if the form is not completely filled up.
After the last date of submission of forms the admission committee of the college will scrutinize the forms / application and prepare a list in order of merit. The merit list will contain the names of the candidates along with the percentage of marks which will be displayed on the college notice board.
The selected candidates must take their admission on the specified day/days as notified by the authority.
If a selected candidate fails to take admission on the specified day, his/her seat will be awarded to the next candidate in order of merit.
A candidate will have to produce original copies of marks sheet and other documents for verification on the date of admission.
Exemption of fees partially or fully is considered for exceptionally meritorious students whom the college authority is convinced that he/she or the parents can’t afford his/her studies

Gap Certificate whenever necessary will have to be produced. It has to be issued by a gazetted officer/head of the institution last attended |
